Leonard Nimoy 1931-2015, And A Bombshell Order For Boeing.

"Live Long And Prosper."

Today we learned of the passing of our favorite Vulcan (with all due respect to our second-favorite, the Avro Vulcan).  Leonard Nimoy was probably pound-for-pound, the coolest television/movie-screen alien in history.  He will be missed.

And, while breaking news (or wind) is not really our schtick, every once in a while something cool comes along which even makes us go, Wow!  And, it was a very welcome, and quite unexpected, order for the Boeing 787, courtesy of Air Tahiti Nui.  The news is HUGE, being that the airline has been a 100% Airbus operator since day-one.

What Is A Bird In The Hand Truly Worth?

All in a day's work, we suppose.

The Brit, The Bus, And The Belt Loader.

And, check out the rims on the belt loader.  Add some wide slicks, a bigger engine, and we would have one, mean piece of GSE!
