You Know Who You Are.

We have all done it. We have all hoped that the “Quickie” shot through the fence would produce acceptable results, but alas, it rarely does. That is why cropping was invented. Now a whole new breed of photographers can show their wares to the world. Unless they Jacked It Up, of course. Thanks to our European branch office for this submission.

You Have Got To Be Kidding!

As much as we here at Totally Jacked Up Aircraft Photos love Totally Jacked Up Aircraft photos, this cannot possibly be happening again. Well, it did. Someone at Manchester Airport (MAN) has got to invest in a chain saw, lest these rogue trees continue to thwart the efforts of our European Correspondents.

A Public Service Announcement.

Stare at this long enough and your hangover will begin to feel like genuine euphoria. If you don’t have a hangover, stare at this for about 15 seconds and one will magically appear.

Our public service to you.

If You Build It, Planes Will Come.

In our old Part 135 days, a wise old (or was it an old wise-ass) captain claimed you could always find an airport by looking for the tallest buildings around. You can also add light poles to that sage advise. Therefore, if you build it - Nice and tall, that is - The planes will indeed come.

They Say Lightening Never Strikes Twice.

Just like Godzilla would not quit harassing Tokyo, so the same goes with the trees of Manchester Airport (MAN). Just when our trusty European Correspondent thought they had the ERJ-190 in their sights, well, you can see for yourself what happened next.

Auntie Em, It’s a Twister, It’s a Twister!

This actually should have been a caption contest photo. However, since we are too cheap to give away any prizes, we will just spill the beans that the Baghdad looking dust storm is nothing but an AN-124 turning around on the adjacent taxiway.

The photo may not be Jacked Up, but the plane sure is.

Dude, Where’s My Car?

Our interesting photo of the week. As you can see, our roving staff will go to any length to get you the best Jacked Up Photos. If wondering around the aerodrome is what it takes to please our three loyal viewers with spectacular pics, then that is what we will do.

We may have lost the car, but at least we remembered our “Don’t hit me” vest.

Smoke ‘Em If Ya’ Got ‘Em.

Ah, the raw beauty of the Boeing 767. The gorgeous daylight of Southern California. And most of all, behold the awesome grace and forms of the glideslope antenna. Aviation bliss, we say.

Why We Have Jacked Up Photos.

As the FedEx A310 smokes ‘em in the background, one of our dependable staffers is entirely perplexed by the big, expensive lens he bought, missing the shot entirely.

It is for this reason we proudly recommend point & shoot digital, 110 film, disposable and cell phone cameras. They are a whole lot less complicated, folks.

And Now For Something Completely Different.

Our staff really liked this little gem when we realized that we did not have a Jacked Up, night time, shaky photo in a Boeing 757-300.

Isn't it peachy?

Phat Bus Visits LAX.

Try as it might, this Emirates A380 “Phat Bus” tried to play hide and go seek at LAX. Good thing one of our roving reporters was there to catch this behemoth before it hid behind a building on final approach to LAX RWY 25L.

First In a New Series.

The Beatles had the White Album, so we bring you the new “White Series" of Totally Jacked Up Aircraft Photos. Sometimes there is just way too much sun, the plane is way too white, the angle is all wrong, but you take the shot anyway. Enjoy the results.

Down In Front!

Aircraft photography can indeed be a contact sport, and nothing is more sacred than a photographer’s “spot.” As elbows become sharper, pushing and shoving the norm, and longer lenses sometimes being used as blunt objects, we should all expect more of this.

“Hey, my airport! My secret spotting location! GO HOME!”

All In a Day's Work?

This was one of those rare opportunities where you got to power up and open everything, however, the camera (and photographer) failed to cooperate.

Truth be told, our staffer knows a whole lot more about Boeing 737’s than about photography.

Jacked Up Photo, anyone?
