Ending 2011 With A Bang!

We figured if it was ceremonial to light off fireworks on New Year's Eve, why not light of a really big one.

Thank you to all of our contributors around the world for your support in 2011. We are looking forward to "Jacking it Up" even more in 2012.

Merry Christmas From The Staff At Totally Jacked Up Aircraft Photos.

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. (7) Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon His kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this." -Isaiah 9:6-7

Ryanair's Michael O'Leary Talks Airlines, Service And Fare Innovations, And Completely Slams The EU.

This video is absolutely priceless. This man understands free markets and the mess of bureaucratic red tape.

The video is seventeen minutes long, but it will have you rolling with laughter the entire time.

Boeing's First 787, ZA001, Flown To Palmdale For Decommissioning.

"It will be the aircraft's last flight for a while, as the first 787 will be decommissioned as a test aircraft, Boeing confirms.

Its Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines will be removed and it will remain in long-term storage before finding its way to a permanent spot in a museum, likely not far from the first 757, 747 and 737." (Courtesy FlightBlogger)

And, one of our crack, on-the-spot reporters were there to provide this long-range, cheesy cell phone shot.
