Asiana Flight 214 Crash At San Francisco International Airport July 06, 2013: The Photos You Never Saw.
Shortly after the incident, we received a sizable cache of post-accident photos from the crash of Asiana Flt. 214 at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). The crew of the Boeing 777-200 executed a dangerouly low approach and stuck the seawall short of SFO's RWY 28L. There were 187-injuries, and miraculously, only 3-fatalities.
These photos are not meant to glorify the horrific tragedy in any way. We submit them purely as a case study of the violence of a major crash and the massive puzzle investigators faced.
Out of respect for all parties involved, we withheld the material for over three-years.
