OUR TENTH-YEAR! Come celebrate all of the ham-fisted, ill-equipped, unprepared and totally inebriated photographers around the globe whom attempted to get that perfect aircraft photo but "Jacked It Up." We aim to provide the finest “Best of The Rest” photos, 'cause we don't use no stinkin' screeners. You send it, we post it. Click on photos to see them full size, and submissions are most welcome (if you dare). Remember, "Don't delete. Just submit your pics and repeat."

The Tenth Wonder of The World.
Yes, this is indeed a wonder. With a plethora (we have always wanted to use that word) of Photo-shopped Moons in aircraft photos on so-called “respectable” aviation web sites, we felt it was time to bring our loyal views the real deal – A Totally Jacked Up Aircraft Photo with the a real Moon. Notice how this shot mates the wonders of the Boeing 737, a setting sun, a 747 on downwind, contrails over the mountains, exquisite Los Angeles smog, and the Piece de resistance – The Moon.
Wow.

Merry Christmas From The Staff Of Totally Jacked Up Aircraft Photos.
And for our holiday special, we bring you pics from the high desert of Southern California. The famed Lockheed “Skunk Works” to be exact. Betcha' can’t find the F-117 in these shots.
Remember, it’s "Stealthy" (extra points if you find the P-80, too).

Even Tougher Economic Times Are Here.
Seeking to cut costs wherever possible (actual customer service, food, friendly flight attendants, free beer and flight engineers), airlines have really become creative to save a little here and there. As for today’s installment, one airline bean-counter was heard to say, “One less nose tire cuts costs by 50%.”
Remember, you saw it here first.

The Good ‘Ol Days.
Our staff really liked this one, and not just for its use of multiple colors in fading light, either. This pic brought back major good memories of the now defunct Dobbs parking lot, where rolls and rolls of 35mm slides were shot off by the masses for years. Now it is an airport shuttle bus parking lot.
Thanks LAWA.

Freighters & Stuff.
Sometimes you just can’t get a clear shot of your subject. Hey, let’s face it, some of us couldn’t get a clear shot if our lives depended on it. Therefore, this series is for you - Freighters & Stuff – The “Stuff” being stairs, loaders, tugs, poles, carts, cones, buildings, trees, rocks, boulders, dinosaurs, space aliens, you name it.
If it is Jacking Up your shot, consider it a good thing.

Ghosts In The Machine?
This is what happens when you try to get a shot with an extended shutter opening and some wanker (as the Brits call them) drives in front of your camera.
In all semi-seriousness (being “Totally” serious is against our Charter), our staff has unanimously voted this one of the “Bestest Totally Jacked Up Aircraft Photos” we have seen to date. It is kinda’ like sweet & sour - It kinda’ sucks, yet it is kinda’ cool.
Bravo to our European Correspondent.

Captain, Impulse Power Has Now Been Restored.
Greetings, loyal viewers (all seven of you). We are back on-line after a two day break due to a sudden loss of internet connectivity. Yes, a drunk 18-year old female decided to completely annihilate the utility pole in front of our staff office, thus making all of our screens go dark. Thanks to the ultra-fast repair crews of Time-Warner Cable (32 hours? NOT!), we are back to thrill you with stunning quality aircraft photos.
Now on to the good stuff. Today’s posting is one of those that we really like, and could actually qualify as a Totally Jacked Up Aircraft Photo (close enough in our book). The fact that is back-lit makes it all the better in our view.

The Effects Of Totally Jacked Up Aircraft Photos.
It has been said being in the right place at the right time to get the “Perfect” aircraft photo suitable for publishing takes a lot of effort. Totally Jacked Up Aircraft Photos disagrees, which leads us to staff axiom number two: “Our procrastination is only exceeded by our laziness.”
“The "Perfect" photo opportunity?” Wake us when it is over.

This Is What We Call A “Sharp” Image.
As the Cheech & Chong movie says, “Things are tough all over.” With airline cutbacks, failures and implosions, financial margins are indeed razor thin, these days. We, therefore, celebrate the economic Zeitgeist with a “sharp” razor wire pic.
Enjoy.

Celebration Part II.
Well, it had to happen sometime. Yes, eventually we had to break down and actually feed our over-worked, abused and neglected intern “Stud Monkey.” And, being it is his birthday today, well, here ya’ go my friend - Food!

We Love Big Oil.
And so do CFM56-7’s. Yes, they can indeed be big drinkers and usually need topping up after every flight. To demonstrate, our Founder carefully pours the magic elixir into the filler without spilling a drop (For those whom have never seen where the oil goes, well, now you know). The final pic shows the happy 737 put to bed awaiting the next ONT-HNL flight.
