OUR TENTH-YEAR! Come celebrate all of the ham-fisted, ill-equipped, unprepared and totally inebriated photographers around the globe whom attempted to get that perfect aircraft photo but "Jacked It Up." We aim to provide the finest “Best of The Rest” photos, 'cause we don't use no stinkin' screeners. You send it, we post it. Click on photos to see them full size, and submissions are most welcome (if you dare). Remember, "Don't delete. Just submit your pics and repeat."

Maui Wowie?
Nah. Just a hop from HNL to LIH on a Boeing 717.
Our Man-On-The-Scene still calls 'em MD-95's, though.

Breaking News: Pitts S-2B Crashes At Oceanside Airport In Front Of Our Roving Reporter.
Apparently, the aircraft (N88EW) lost power, landed short of the runway, and flipped over onto its back. Emergency crews arrived shortly after the above photo was taken, and both pilot and passenger had walked away with (fortunately) only minor bumps and scrapes.

Twofer Tuesday: A Boeing 787 ZA001 Update & A Little Lockheed C-130 Action.
Things have a bit quiet as of late at the High Desert region of Palmdale Airport. So, when we were tipped off that the prototype Boeing 787, ZA001, was now moved to the Boeing hanger, we perked up a little bit. The smuggled photo shows ZA001 in mid-move via a tug.
We will keep our ears to the wind to see if our man on the scene can provide us with an update on the situation, and to ascertain if the information is worth what we paid for it.
As for the C-130 "Herky," well, she was doing touch and go's, or "Circuits and Bumps" as the Poms call 'em.
