August 30, 2016 will forever be a sad day in Aviation. It will be remembered as the day legendary engineer Joe Sutter passed away.
His vision, daring, wisdom, and wit, opened up a new era of aviation, forever changing the face of commercial air travel. He will certainly be missed.
God Speed, Joe. We don't make them like you anymore.
